Attended St. Xavier HS in Cincinnati, Ohio. Majored in marketing at Boston College. Last name is pronounced KEEK-lee. Selected in the first round (9th overall) of the NFL Draft by Carolina (4/26/12). Played in 38 games with 37 starts at Boston College. Finished career with an Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and school-record 532 tackles. Leads the NFL with 693 tackles (based on press box statistics) since entering the league in 2012.
