Born and raised in Richmond, VA, Maddie first touched the stage at the age of 8 where she convinced her best friends to perform with her in the school talent show. From home videos to family reunions, she would love to be put in the spotlight to entertain. She fell in love with acting in high school where she competed in the Virginia Theatre Association Competition where her cast and crew placed top 4 out of over 100 schools. She continued to develop her craft as an adult and transitioned from Theatre to TV/Film where she trained at In-Studio (Greensboro, NC), privately with Leslie Shuman's Success Pro Workshops (Raleigh, NC) and Bill Duke. She studied Meisner technique and went on to working alongside award winning actors such as Taraji P Henson and Terrance Howard. She now resides in Atlanta, Ga. Maddie mentors new actors in the south east while continuing to work as an actor herself as she studies the craft and the business.
