Manuj Sharma was born on 26 June 1986 in Muzaffar Nagar. His father Mr. Om Prakash Sharma is a businessman and his mother Mrs. Raj Sharma is a housewife. He shifted to Delhi with his family in 2004 and did his graduation in Hindi literature and Dramatics from Bhagat Singh College (DU) in year 2005-2007. He did a diploma in acting from Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts, Delhi in 2006-2007. After doing professional theatre with many eminent theatre groups and personalities, he shifted to Mumbai in 2010. His first breakthrough was a commercial for the newspaper Hindustan Times and his first film was "Bhootnath Returns".
