Comedian, actor and writer Mark Sparkler has appeared on British TV and feature films for directors such as Peter Hewitt, written comedy and humorous narratives including for Steve Coogan and once collaborated with the late great Sir Norman Wisdom (before sadly Norman became unwell). Mark is also the annual compère of the Bowie Memorial Festival in South London.Originally a pioneer of punk-comedy in the 1990s Mark has since appeared in dozens of comedy sketches on British television and inspired a fair few comedians. The very first original repeat sketches featuring an able bodied wheel chair user (popularised by Little Britain) were inspired by Mark's character Walter Hull. Mark especially has a passion for comedy acting and has also written a number of TV sketches - TV formats - and TV drama concepts - which are now available from myself Laila Debs at C A Management.The last big format success he wrote was "I Get That All The Time" which became a smash hit on CBS... renamed for the American market as "I Get That A Lot". Mark's range of character voices including his 'little old lady' have even fooled friends and family, while his character Godfrey Cunptington is just Mark disguised as a midget on stilts (his real legs going down inside the pretend stilts). Mark's 'bread and butter' work has included serious roles and some stunt work on Ashes To Ashes, The BIll and many others.
