Marty Rhone was born on May 7, 1948 in Soerabaja, East Java, Dutch East Indies as Karel Lawrence van Rhoon. He is an award winning actor/singer , known for Rise (2014), The Masque of the Red Death (2007) and Happy Melancholy (2014). He has accumulated an impressive catalog of work over nearly half a century in Australia and internationally that includes film, television, theater, stage and Gold records. His first live professional performance at 17 was as a support act to the Rolling Stones. He has since worked with and in front of some of entertainments biggest stars including Yul Brynner, Sophia Loren, John Denver and for royalty including the late King Hussein of Jordon, Princess Grace of Monaco and Princess Margaret.
