Matthew Robert Tolton was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on December 10th, 1998, to Angela and Jim Tolton. Matt is the youngest of three boys. From the time he was a young boy, Matt always wanted to be an actor. He initially started by taking theatre classes at both Neptune Theatre and Unicorn Theatre. In 2009 he was cast in his first commercial. His commercial work includes Cisco, Dempster's and Pizza Delight. In 2011 Matt was cast as Stephan in the Canadian sitcom television series Mr. D starting acclaimed comedian Gerry Dee. This has become a reoccurring role for him. He was also cast in Stephen King's Bag of Bones and Call me Fitz. Matt's other interests include hockey, guitar, snowboarding, swimming and camping. Matt is fluent in French.
