Matthew A. Chapman first stepped on set in the 2001 movie Pearl Harbor as a background sailor on the USS Arizona. As an active duty U.S. Army officer, Matthew was not available to pursue acting for several years after this experience due to operational and combat deployments in countries including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq. Inspired by his brother Paul H. Chapman, a successful professional actor, Matthew started to pursue acting in the fast-paced and exciting productions of Hawaii Five-0 on the island of Oahu. Matthew appears in several episodes in seasons 4, 5, and 6. Recently Matthew acted on the set of several feature films in Hawaii including Jurassic World, Snowden and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates.
