Matthew goes to H-B Woodlawn Secondary Program in Arlington, Virginia where he avidly participates in the theatre department, both acting and behind the scenes. He also participates in Encore Stage and Studio's Children's Theatre, the company that gave Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls) her start, both on stage and behind the scenes. His most notable role with Children's Theatre was his portrayal of the boy who was turned into a zucchini in "I Was A Teenage Zucchini But I Didn't Get Squashed." He is set to work on his school's Cappies production (a very prestigious high school theatre program) in the 2007-2008 school year.
