Atlanta based actor Max River has been performing since the age of 8. He has performed in over 17 community theatre productions and has been in 5 professional Regional theatre productions. Twice Max has been nominated for a Metropolitan Atlanta Theatre Award for Best Youth Actor, winning the award in 2010. Max River's first film 'The Therapist' (Campus Movie Fest/Ga Tech) won Best Picture & was chosen to screen at Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner 2012. Since, he has been in 4 more films, 2 TV commercials, a Web Series, multiple industrials & music videos. Max plays Mandolin, Banjo & Guitar in a Bluegrass Band & performs in a duo called COPPER RIVER. Max is a competitive flat water kayaker & placed 5th in the Pokémon Regional Championships & 34th in the National Championships! He enjoys hanging out with his friends & animals, all sports, being outdoors; whitewater rafting, camping, hiking, running, swimming, fishing, biking, archery, swords. Max attends GA Cyber Academy (home school) & continues to maintain all A's in advanced/Honors classes, has been a part of DUKE TIP (Talent Identification Program)since 5th Grade, joined the National Beta Club in 8th Grade & has been recognized for ongoing Academic Excellence by the state of Georgia.
