Mazin Akar is an American Actor of Lebanese decent who was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. His passion for the dramatic arts began while playing Nathan Detroit in a high school production of 'Guys and Dolls.'Soon after, he found himself at the steps of the The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) briefly before being introduced to The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York, NY.It was there he discovered the Meisner technique of Acting during an intense two-year training program which he successfully completed in May 2013.Mazin is known for his guest starring roles in both Showtime's Emmy-Award winning series 'Homeland' and the Netflix original series 'Marvel's Jessica Jones' along with originating the role of Victor Pashun in Edward Allen Baker's 'Sonny Under the Assumption.'
