Micah Knapp is a writer, director, producer, based in Seattle, Washington - known as a Director and Producer of "11:11". Micah was born in Bellingham, WA in March, 1987. Micah's father was a Evangelical pastor, and his mother Cheryl Knapp was an animal trainer. His mother appeared on such television shows as: David Letterman, America's Got Talent, and more.At age 8, Micah saved $500 to purchase an 8mm video camera - making home movies with his three brothers. Making films was a form of escapism from growing up in the church. In 2012, Micah and his brother Jacob co-founded Knapp Bros. Studios and produced local commercials, music videos, documentaries and shorts. Micah moved to Seattle, Washington in 2015 to work in the freelance market. Micah is a writer, director and producer. Micah is embarking on his first directorial feature film debut, "11:11" filming Summer of 2018.Micah has acted as Producer on multiple Independent feature films, shot in Seattle - as well as Producing and Directing multiple short films, appearing in local festivals - including SIFF (Seattle International Film Festival) and more. Micah has worked in every format and medium - from Film, to RED Digital Cinema, to IMAX Film, to Virtual Reality projects. His work encompasses: commercial, corporate, music video, documentary, and feature films.
