Michael Paul Stephenson is a director, writer, producer and actor. As a child actor he became known for his role in the cult hit Troll 2 (1990). This experience led him to produce, direct and write the critically acclaimed documentary Best Worst Movie (2009). His second documentary The American Scream (2012) premiered on NBCUniversal's Chiller network and was named a Must Watch by Entertainment Weekly. Hi narrative directorial debut, Girlfriend's Day, is a Netflix Original Movie. Premiering on Valentines Day 2017, the comedy stars Bob Odenkirk, Amber Tamblyn, Natasha Lyonne and Stacy Keach. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and their three daughters.
