Michaela holds an MA in Theatre from the University of Toronto and a BA in Creative Writing & Theatre from Concordia University. Most recently, she appeared in Birds of a Feather with Roseneath Theatre. Other theatre credits include: Humber River Shakespeare Company's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Teesri Duniya theatre's State of Denial, Black Theatre Workshop's staged readings of Eating Pomegranates Naked and The Hallway. Michaela performed her one-woman show 8 Ways my Mother was Conceived in Toronto, Montreal, New York City, Ottawa, Hudson, Winnipeg and Stratford. Film & TV credits include The Bold Type, Mike, Fatal Vows, Psych Out, A Stranger in My Home, Sex & Ethnicity. Michaela spent one year as the Playwright-in-Residence at Imago Theatre where she wrote In Search of Mrs. Pirandello, performed as part of the 2016 WildSide Festival at Centaur Theatre. Michaela's latest play, Successions will be produced in the 2017/2018 Centaur Theatre Season.
