She worked under the direction of Oscar-nominees Spike Lee and John Singleton. Her stage career has won her leading roles Off-Broadway, at the Mark Taper Forum, and with the acclaimed Naked Angels Theater Company whose members also include Sarah Jessica Parker and Marisa Tomei.
