Mireia Rey (born Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain) is a Spanish actress, best known for her role of Carmen Polo in the feature film While at war, directed by the Academy Award wining director Alejandro Amenábar. Box office hit in Spain, worldwidely released by Buena Vista International. She has finished shooting the TV series Paraiso directed by Fernando Gonzalez Molina for Movistar+ and is currently shooting the popular Spanish TV series Estoy Vivo, produced by Mediapro and RTVE. She has also worked for different TV series such as Welcome to the family (TV3, Netflix...), Madres (Telecinco), Medical Center (TVE), As if it was yesterday (TV3), La Fossa (TV3, Apunt) and the TV movie Èxode, directed by Roman Parrado as well as many other short films and independent movies. Combines her job as an actress with screenwriting and directing.
