Miriam Cooke is an Actress, Producer, Broadcaster and Writer for BBC, C4, five, Discovery and National Geographic and is one of the presenters on BBC One's Country tracks.Miriam Cooke played the lead role of Professor Anna Kappel in the 2015 WW2 psychological thriller feature "Soldiers of the Damned'. The film recently won best Director for Mark Nuttall at the Marbella International Flm Festival and was nominated for Best Picture. Miriam's credits include the lead of Ellie in the C4 film 'The Third Party', Sarah in Touch and Go (BBC2), she has worked with Jez Butterworth and Chris Menges, played Celine in Dreamlife (Waterworks), Goneril in King Lear and Helena in Look Back in Anger. A talented singer (mezzo soprano), Miriam has toured and recorded in the UK and Europe. Her new EP Malachite was released in 2015.
