Ned Sherrin was born on February 18, 1931 in Low Ham, Somerset, England as Edward George Sherrin. He was a producer and director, known for Not So Much a Programme, More a Way of Life (1964), That Was the Week That Was (1962) and The Great Inimitable Mr. Dickens (1970). He died on October 1, 2007 in Chelsea, London, England.
