A history major before entering the movie business, Paul began his career making short films and music videos in his hometown of Victoria, BC. Since optioning his first screenplay in 1994, he has penned dozens of features and TV movies for production companies in Canada, the US and the UK. His credits include the war on terror drama Drone (2017) starring Sean Bean, airborne thriller Altitude (2010), and the Steven Seagal action film The Keeper (2009). He lives in Vancouver with his wife and son.
