Biography
Peggy King
In 1952, MGM signed her to a contract, which led to a singing cameo in Vincente Minnelli's Les ensorcelés (1952) (recorded with Skip Martin for MGM Records) and a series of commercial jingles for Hunt's tomato sauce. She sang in the 1955 cult comedy Deux nigauds et la momie (1955) and was featured as chief co-star on the poster. She portrayed the stewardess Janet Turner in the suspense thriller À l'heure zéro (1957), later the basis for the disaster spoof, Y a-t-il un pilote dans l'avion? (1980).
