Peter Cornelius Schoeman was born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa, as the second child of four to Linda Schoeman-Malan, a Law Professor, and then husband Kobus Schoeman, who is a Journalist and Photographer. He first developed a love for the performing arts when he started dancing at the age of 13. He got his first taste for acting in his final year of High School and was hooked immediately.After being received very well for the roles he played in High School he promptly decided to enrol as a Drama Major at the University of Pretoria the following year. He was privileged to study under South African greats such as Carel Trichardt and Pieter Brandt, but to name a few. Peter later went to further his studies at AFDA(The South African School of Motion Picture Medium & Live Performance), where he was exposed to the skills and nuances of Screen Acting.Peter has worked in various areas of the industry, from being a Radio DJ, Voice Artist and Stage Actor. However Film Acting is his passion and strength as a performer. He took a hiatus from the industry in 2008 but has returned recently in the 2019 International TV Series "Professionals", starring Brendan Fraser and Tom Welling.
