Peter S. Kim was born in Flushing, Queens, attended the Bronx High School of Science and graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Psychology and concentration in Consumer Behavior. He later went on to work for Yahoo! as a Data Strategist in San Francisco, CA. In 2009, he started performing stand up and improv comedy, and in 2010, he founded and performed with the comedy theater 'EndGames Improv'.In 2012, Peter left his career in Silicon Valley and moved to Chicago to pursue comedy full time. While continuing to write and perform stand up, he also wrote and performed for iO, Annoyance, the Second City National Touring Company, and the Second City e.t.c. resident stage where he was nominated for a 2016 Jeff Award for his performance in the critically acclaimed revue: 'A Red Line Runs Through It'.He continues to perform live today at The Laugh Factory, hosting The Moth and with his improv team 'Baby Wine' at the Annoyance Theater.
