Peter Wallison is the Arthur F. Burns Fellow in Financial Policy Studies at the American Enterprise Institute. Formerly a member of the Reagan White House Counsel, Mr. Wallison is a veteran of public policy and Washington affairs. He has testified before Congress on the housing bubble and is a frequent commentator in the mass media on the Federal takeover of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
