Rene Mena was born in Sonsonate, El Salvador to parents Francisco & Rosa Mena. Rene lived in El Salvador until he was 16 when his family moved to Richmond, VA. There he attended Meadowbrook H.S and college. In 2010 he started acting in plays with the Sycamore Rouge Theater Company. In 2011, Rene moved to Los Angeles and since he has appeared in TV Shows "Hand of God", "Border Battles", "Tales of Titans", "Story of God", "Crime Stoppers" and "Shameless" and films "Bright", "Out Of Town", "Lola's Love Shack", "Canon", "Lake Los Angeles", "Wally's Will", "Gentlemen's Fury" and "Buddy Solitaire". He is also an up-and-coming producer.
