If you're ever afraid to do something because you're too embarrassed, remember this: if you think you can get through this life without ever being made a fool, you will be constantly disappointed. While others reach for the impossible, your head will be filled with can't and nonsense. Be bold, you fools!

I think the thing to realize is, you are a work of art, and time makes your life a moving image.

To define oneself is to confine oneself. That's why I was always afraid to describe myself. This has not changed.

For a while, I thought the only way for me to achieve any sort of validity in my life was by adopting a fierce individualism- Being weird and avoiding the herd mentality at all cost, because I've always had a fascination with running the edges. But I was too busy trying to become someone. I was trying to find my place. And what I wanted was magic. I wanted awe and astonishment. I wanted to captivate some and mesmerize others. I wanted poetry.
