Elation Media's chairman is Gerald Levin, former Chairman/CEO of Time Warner.Schnitzer is also Founder/CEO of Movicorp Media, a Los Angeles-based literary development and media rights management firm. He operates in both the creative and the financial aspects of the global media business.Prior to founding Elation Media and Movicorp Media, Schnitzer came to prominence as an independent filmmaker having written, produced and directed the classic romantic thriller "Rebel" starring Sylvester Stallone, the award-winning psychic thriller "The Premonition" and the musical love story "Kandyand." He also produced (but did not direct), the contemporary drama "Shelter from the Storm."In addition, Schnitzer has sold and arranged funding for dozens of media ventures and is often called upon to speak at conferences and other industry events.Schnitzer was born and raised in New York City.
