Born in Los Angeles, CA, Robert grew up in several Western states before returning to California to attend UCLA and to start a career in acting and theatre. In Hollywood, he studied with Lee Strasberg and Bobby Lewis and directed critically acclaimed stage productions. When a casting director noticed Robert in several television commercials, he was called to audition for a role on a daytime drama in New York City where he won a three-year contract on One Life to Live. Returning to Los Angeles in 1981, Robert worked in feature films and television series, including Dallas, Simon & Simon, and St. Elsewhere. Robert currently lives in Woodland Hills, CA and works in local theatre productions.
