Robert Allen, aka Happy, is best known for his live theatre work as a designer and director. His innovative, 2015 production of RENT garnered national attention. Happy did his Master's work at Washington State University and his Bachelor's work at Muhlenberg College. Happy is an accredited, professional animal trainer whose students can be seen on both stage and screen. He frequently performs onstage, reprising the roles of Fagin in Oliver, Major General Stanley in Pirates of Penzance and Miss Hannigan in Annie.
