Robert Mladinich is a retired NYPD detective and the author or co-author of four true crime books: "From the Mouth of the Monster: the Joel Rifkin Story," "Lethal Embrace," Hooked Up For Murder," and "Case Files of the NYPD: More Than 175 Years of Solved and Unsolved Crimes." He had several professional boxing matches in the early 1980s. Robert is a Manhattan-based licensed private investigator and is also a licensed social worker in the state of New York.
