Ryan Pickett was raised in Howard County, Maryland and he spent five years attending school in Germany. He began working in the entertainment industry in college with entry level jobs at Henninger Media and the Washington Redskins. He earned his B.A. in English Language and Literature with a minor in Film from the University of Maryland, College Park. After graduation he moved to Los Angeles, California where he held positions at major entertainment corporations, including Manager of Worldwide Distribution at Playboy Enterprises, and Vault Librarian at Ascent Media. He studied acting at Stella Adler Conservatory and he attended Watkins College of Art and Design for his Post Graduate degree in Directing. His films have won numerous awards, gained publicity with many positive reviews, and earned international distribution. Ryan lives in the Hillsboro Village district of Nashville, Tennessee with his wife and daughter.
