[on Doctor at Large (1971)] That strange mixture of the naive and the sexualised teenage girl is I think quite a scary part of how we look back on it and I think it explains why we have some of the criminal legacies that are being uncovered now. I also think part of it was - I'm not saying it was deliberate - part of a backlash against feminism culture, so you sort of trivialise women and you kind of confuse the boundaries between sexual empowerment and liberation and actually copping a feel.
