Sasha Moric first began developing his passion for filmmaking at the age of 18 while working for a local community television station. He began as an editor but quickly gravitated toward cinematography. With a diverse education including both psychology and acting, Sasha spent years living abroad in such places as Los Angeles and Japan. In his more than ten years as a professional cinematographer, Sasha has developed an impressive body of work spanning many styles and media including short and feature films, documentaries, music videos and commercials. His feature film debut which he also co-directed, 11 Blocks (2015) was distributed by Netflix, and he has since shot Frat Pack (2016), Recall (2016), First Is The Worst (2016) and The Performance (2016). Moric has shot commercials for many high-profile companies including Sony, Canon, RBC, TD Bank, Honda, Rogers, Master Card, Second City, The Canadian Opera Company and Sick Kids Hospital. Sasha's passion for the art of filmmaking is only growing by the day, and above all else he is inspired by the idea of working to make the world a better place one film at a time.
