Seven McDonald is a producer and award-winning journalist. She is a co-executive producer on The Story of Plastic (2019) which will premiere on Discovery in honor of Earth Day 2020. Raised in California by her father musician Country Joe McDonald and her mother, Robin Menken actress/writer/film archivist, she was a child actress. She appeared as a semi-regular on Norman Lear's Archie Bunker's Place. Her background is rooted in journalism (Harper's Bazaar, Nylon, Playboy), TV/film and the music industry. Her column at the LA Weekly, 24/Seven, was named "Best Column in the Nation" by the Association of Alternative Media.
