Sharman DiVono writes science fiction novels and short stories, a departure from her writing of animated shows for television. Her futuristic sci-fi murder-mystery novel "Blood Moon" (Dawbooks) is set on the Moon, where the U.S. maintains a base. She has also published short stories revolving about the Silver Surfer character. Sharman is currently (2008) developing a crime-detective television series set in ancient Rome. In her spare time she is an avid horsewoman.
