Shary Guthrie was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She was a member of the Canadian National Rhythmic Gymnastic team, after which she retired to pursue other things...including a brief stint with the Canadian National Armed Forces Reserves, as a Medical Aid...then, Anthropological studies at UWO,in London, Ontario....and, finally, Theatre Performance at York University in Toronto. After pursuing a career in acting, primarily in film and television, over a period of approximately 9 years, Shary returned to the classroom: in Paris, France, at L'Ecole Philippe Gaulier, studying Clown and Bouffon. She also works with children with autism.
