Shawn Patrick Farrell spent his youth in Buffalo New York and its suburbs before earning an undergraduate degree in English Literature from Fordham University in New York City. He returned to the Buffalo area to earn his MLS degree from the University at Buffalo, and spent the next several years working for the New York Public Library in a variety of roles. An introvert by nature, Shawn periodically attempts to belie his innate wussery by appearing on stage or in major motion pictures and in addition to parts in a number of films, has worked with Disney, and with such luminaries as Cookie Monster and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. He currently resides in a state that's far more red than he'd like and is working on his second book. Shawn is single but has successfully nurtured a cactus for several months and will soon be buying a puppy.
