Director Simon Hung was born in Taiwan who now lives and works in Los Angeles. Upon graduation from UBC, he studied 3D animation in Vancouver Film School. After years of working in 3D animation industry, he went to New York Film Academy for master degree in film making. In 2009, Lastlink Films (Taiwan) was founded by Simon and Peter Huang. They worked on films and commercials, and gathered a team of CG animation and visual effects team. In 2012, they founded Lastlink Films (USA) and focused on short and feature film developing. In 2012, the short, "Mr. Monster" was selected by the Short Film Corner at Cannes Film Festival. In 2013, he directed his first feature film "MR. MONSTER". In 2014, he wrote with director Guy Malim and produced feature film "MEDICINE MEN".
