Stephen Uppal
Stephen Uppal is a classically trained actor from the UK. After graduating from the prestigious ArtsEd school of Acting in London and studying under Dee Cannon, (RADA), Stephen enjoyed a lot of West End theatre success. He is most noted for starring alongside Ben Barnes (Prince Caspian, The Seventh Son, The Words) in the Royal National Theatre's production of The History Boys. Stephen was thrust into the mainstream after landing a series lead role as Ravi Roy in one of the UK's biggest and most popular TV shows, Hollyoaks which he starred in for 3 seasons alongside Barry Sloane (Revenge, The Whispers), Emmett Scanlan, (Guardians of the Galaxy & Constantine), Ricky Whittle (American Gods) & Nathalie Emmanuel, (GOT & Fast & Furious7 & 8, Maze Runner). He then moved on to star in British movies such as Freight alongside Craig Fairbrass (Cliff Hanger) and Red Mercury alongside Stockard Channing (Grease, The West Wing) & the late great Pete Postlethwaite, (Inception,Clash of the Titans.) Most recently Stephen can be seen in 'The Mummy' (Tom Cruise, Russell Crowe) in cinemas June 9th 2017 and his first film as a writer & producer, 'Abe' which will be released late 2017.Stephen resides in London
