[on 'Funkytown'] I was a disco guy in the '70s. I loved watching 'American Bandstand' and looking at people dancing all these different dances, like the Hustle and the Elevator. It was all about the glamour; it was about feeling like you were a star for that one night. But there's also the other side - what happens when the lights come up.
