Steven Chase Actor Writer Producer Although Steven was a natural behind the camera, his true passion was to be in front of it. That drive and determination led him to find ways to be on movie sets which shot in his hometown of Staten Island. It wasn't long before Steven had amassed over 50 roles in feature films as a Background Artist, where he was able to observe and learn from the Best in the Business. He has a keen eye for what makes a film great but most especially, a heart for actors and all of those involved in filmmaking; from the crew to the artists to the film backers. With his natural ability and true understanding of every facet of filmmaking, Steven is able to bring out the best in every member of the team and to create a finished product which is well beyond his years of experience. To date, Steven has had roles in over a dozen films; as a producer and an actor. Steven has held lead or starring roles in "How Sweet It Is", "Bus Driver" and "Death House" while also serving as those film's producers. Steven's next project is a comedy, "Garlic & Gunpowder", which he has written and in which he will star.
