Theresa Laib was born in Glendale, California. Her parents are Shaohui, a global-logistics accountant and Mike Laib, a Lecturer at University of Southern California (USC). Her mother is from China, and her father is of French, Irish, and Italian descent.Theresa joined the world of professional acting in 2014 when she was cast in her first movie, Havenhurst. In this horror film, Theresa, age 10, plays the young daughter of Jackie, a woman with a troubled past whose life is about to get a lot worse. On the set, Theresa was very excited to have a chance to work with real Hollywood actors and behind-the-scenes film-makers including Director, Andrew C. Erin.Between takes, Theresa got to hang out with Julie Benz, the actor who plays Jackie. Between takes, Ms. Benz graciously gave Theresa acting tips as Theresa got her first taste of professional acting. Overall, Theresa Laib feels lucky and honored to have become a member of the Hollywood community.
