Tim Baran is a writer, comedian and actor based in Southern, California. Tim was born in Jacksonville, Florida and grew up in and around the Atlanta, Georgia area moving to California in High School.Tim began his acting career at the age of 10 doing community theatre, and has performed in numerous plays and musicals with leading roles in Chicago, The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged, The Jungle Book, The Phantom Tollbooth, and The Mouse that Roared.At the age of 14 Tim started to explore film acting. Since then, Tim has been cast in a number of short films, TV pilots, industrials and had a supporting role in the independent feature film Big Losers (2014) (formerly The Ivy League) and a lead role in the independent feature film Santa's Boot Camp (2016). Tim was a nationally-ranked saber fencer during middle school and recently had the opportunity to bring those skills to acting in the San Diego TV pilot for a new crime series titled Blacklisted (2014).Tim also has the comedy bug. He performs improv and sketch comedy regularly, and lead his high school improv team to win the National Comedy Theatre High School League Championship. While in Atlanta, he was an original member of the Phat Kidz Stand-up and Improv Show performing monthly at an area comedy club.
