Trena Penson was born and raised in Milwaukee WI and began her acting career in early 2009, but had always dreamed of acting as a child. As an adult, she trained under Mary Dawe of Markson-Dawe Talent. In January 2015, Trena traveled with Mary to Los Angeles to compete in the annual IMTA Convention. She proudly took 3rd Place in the Adult Female Improv Competition. It was an amazing experience for her to compete against other actors from around the U.S. and beyond. Trena's previous roles range from a mother/housewife being hunted by a mysterious Bigfoot-like creature, to a secretary, nurse, escaped captive, a ruthless Russian drug-lord, and even a kooky witch in a comedy web-series about a bunch of medieval role-playing misfits, just to name a few. Her love of horror films has always intrigued her from a very young age. At 8 years old, she asked her Father to take her to see The Exorcist and it forever changed her, which is why her dream role is to break the stereotypical female roles by portraying a deranged killer. Getting into the psychotic mind of a killer would be her biggest challenge yet.
