Originally from Toronto, Canada, Vanessa moved to New York City at age 5. Soon enough, she started taking ballet classes at Carnegie Hall, which eventually led to studying at the Joffrey Ballet School. At the age of 10, she began studying improvisation at Herbert Berghof Studios where she performed in several stage productions and starred opposite Lindsay Crouse in the the Far Off Sweet Forever. At age 17 she graduated from Professional Children's School. After several extremely small roles in Ghostbusters, Moscow on the Hudson and Hardhat and Legs, she relocated to Puerto Rico to work as a principle dancer in a production called Scandalous.In 2014 she starred in the legal drama web series Advocate and Solicitor. 2015 finds her producing and delivering a great supporting performance in the thriller Yes.
