Whittney was raised in Dalton, Georgia. In 2008, she finished her B.A. in Theatre Arts, and graduated Magna Cum Laude, from LaGrange College. After college she moved to Atlanta to begin her acting career. Her internship at Actor's Express led her to meet playwright Steve Yockey, who was having his play, Large Animal Games, produced at Dad's Garage Theatre. When the scripted show wrapped, Whittney found herself captivated by the improv shows at Dad's Garage.In the summer of 2010, she auditioned for the first ever Rookie Program at Dad's and was cast! The following year she became one of the General Company improvisers at Dad's Garage. In her time at Dad's, Whittney has performed in improv shows, sketches for DGTV, and has taught various workshops, from high schoolers to corporate America. Whittney also became an ensemble member of Automatic Improv in 2011.She is still performing with both Dad's Garage Theatre Company and Automatic Improv, as well as pursuing her film career.
