Xavier "X" Barquet received NYU's Scholarship Award (one of only 25 Nationally given) to transfer to New York University from U. of Miami. At NYU, he completed a Double Major - PreMed/Film & Acting by his timely Graduation. Soon after, he was Co-Starring "Off Broadway" at the American Theatre Of Actors (NYC). He then worked off-and-on for 5 yrs. in the Hit Series "Miami Vice" as a Guest Star. In 1989, he earned his first Producing position on a Feature Film. After producing 7 more Features, X launched Event United in 2000 as an effort to "unite" ALL Independent Filmmakers. To date (2005), Event United has successfully produced 6 Productions and "united" over 267 Producers, Directors, Writers, Cinematographers, Editors, and Financiers.
