Zhenya Leverett was born in Russia. After classical training as an actress, she worked in theatre and film in Moscow, where she was cast in Nevesta moego zhenikha (2013). She then moved to London, UK, where she was soon taken on by the Idamos agency, who specialize in action performers. She was recently able to put her combat skills to the test, as a Russian prisoner trading punches with Jodie Comer in the highly rated TV series Killing Eve (2018) (2018)
