Zoë Sallis was born in India and educated in England. She attended Cheltenham Ladies' College. After college she won a scholarship to the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, and went on to act in stage performances, television and cinematic films. She met and fell in love with film director John Huston in 1960. They had a son, Danny, and resided in Rome for many years. Danny is now a well-known actor and director. Zoë is a resident of London. She has published two books, "Ten Eternal Questions" and "Our Stories, Our Visions" which were both international bestsellers.
