Voldemort formed the Death Eaters sometime between 1946 and 1956. Originally, they were called the name 'the Knights of Walpurgis'. The Death Eaters are wizards who follow Voldemort. There seems to be a fairly small number of them, although those who Apparate to Voldemort's side when the Dark Mark on their arms summons them may be the inner circle of his strongest supporters only. Some of the Death Eaters have children at Hogwarts.The Death Eaters cast as Death Eaters (not Lucius Malfoy, Bellatrix Lestrange, or Rhodolphus Lestrange-he was cast as Azkaban Death Eater played by Arben Bajraktaraj) in the Department of Mysteries in the Order of the Phoenix were: Antonin Dolohov (Richard Cubison)-the one holding Ron hostage Walden Macnair (Peter Best)-the one holding Luna hostage Mr. Travers (Tav MacDougall)-the one holding Hermione hostage, he appears in the movie only Rabastan Lestrage (Richard Trinder)-the one holding Ginny hostage and brother of Rhodolphus Lestrange
