Jack Crusher is the late husband of Enterprise-D chief medical officer Beverly Crusher and father to Wesley. He was good friends and served under Jean-Luc Picard on the USS Stargazer until he was killed on in an accident an away mission. Picard returned Crusher's body to his family.Jack proposed to Beverly with a gag gift, the book How to Advance Your Career Through Marriage. He recorded a message for Wesley to be played when he turned 18.
