Marla Daniels is the politically ambitious wife of lieutenant Cedric Daniels. She and Cedric separate during the third season and Cedric moves out. She also begins to campaign for election to the city council in this season with the support of state delegate Odell Watkins. She succesfully beats her oponnent Eunetta Perkins in the election. She has sought reconciliation with Cedric but he rejected her advance.
